Trying to install v1.0 - Installation files appear to be incorrect

I just realized this is in the "Plugins" forum. I'll try to find the proper forum. All very confusing here.

I unzipped v1.0, then transferred the files into my public directory on my server.

After filling out the first screen, I discovered I had to upgrade MySQL to v-5. This took me several days, as I have several clients on my server, and I needed to make sure I didn't upset any apple carts.

That done, I though it would be smooth sailing, but not so - upon submitting the second installation page, I received a 404 error, as it was looking for a file in the "action" subdirectory. There is none. There is an "actionS" sundirectory.

Hmmm - which is right? Not able to quickly find the reference to "action", I changed the "actions" subdirectory to "action" and submitted the form again. This time, I received an error that it could not find the file /action/systemsettings/install (no extension)

I then tried to run {mydomain}/action/systemsettings/install.php. The result was:

Call to undefined function elgg_set_viewtype() in /home/shadle/public_html/actions/systemsettings/install.php on line 16

I didn't look at install.php. I just gave up at this point. I have a limited time to work on this (in between other things) and I can't get past the install.

Are we still in beta here?

Can anyone help me?

Unable to download Skype Status

Just installed the status plugin.

I can see it on the sidebar but it doesn't update the status. what gives?

Has anybody got the new version of elgg v1.0, what do you think of it compared to the classic version?

If possible can you share the file with us?

only admin users can see interests?

For some reason on my site only the admin users can see interests. The basic users can't see what interests they ahve posted nor any matches. What could be causing this problem?

Problem Gallery plugin

Hi all,

I' am new into Elgg, yes have already a site running under version 0.9.1 Look at www.gopoint.nl (dutch)

I have installed different mods, Like the elgg gallery-plugin: I got a page, but no further options (uploading)

It ask to give a path to to thumbnail?? Its me not clear with path!!
I don't see any map with thumnail on my server root or another place.
So if someone can direct me to the correct path?

You can see it on my site after login...

By the way I love this script, it has more then you see......

Statistics plugin v1.0 is just released.

It is compatible with elgg0.9 and works with PHP >= 5.0.x.

This plugin allows you to compile statistics in ELGG.

Boomarks plugin v2.0 is just released. It is compatible with elgg0.9 and contains some new features such as bookmark widget, browser bookmarklet, etc....

Elgg & Joomla?

Hi!

Has anyone integrated Elgg with Joomla? I'm interested of getting every Joomla user automatically added to Elgg, for example when they login to Elgg first time. And also SSO, I don't want to make them login again. Is there a plugin or code for this, or anyone experienced of how easy this is to create?
