Suggestion : personal blogs and community blogs interactions

Hi,

I don't know much about Elgg, I just discover it and try it. But I think about one possible plugin that could be useful :

It would be great if a user, when he posts an article in his personal weblog, could choose to post this article in a community blog too. So it could bring more interaction, I think. The user would not have to choose to post an article in his weblog OR in a community blog anymore.

So, don't know if it's possible, just an idea...

wow! that's an elegant and simple solution to forcing people to feel like they're not 'blogging' if they join a community - and it sounds like a relatively simple option - though i don't write code like that...

anybody got thoughts on how to do it? basically associate the node with individual as blog instead of just as 'activity' ?
