[edit] Assessment Portfolio Aggregator

We are currently working on building an integration with our student record system. This is most likely not affecting Elgg, but changing our SRS to provide feeds of new assets that can then be pulled into Elgg via RSS or so.

This is an essential functionality for us as we try to develop Elgg into an aggregator for e-portfolio stuff. The authoritative data from the SRS (transcripts, diploma supplements, exam results) can then be used by students in their presentations.

The challenge is avoiding fraud, and we talked about digital signatures, but will initially go with a simpler solution of adding a watermark or statement saying that the original can be checked at URL. If anyone has suggestions, we are grateful.

  • projects: Basic extension from the blog plugin that allows to publish projects with their state.

  • simpleprofileicon: A simplified profile icon form. It allows to upload/replace only an icon per profile. This is because some users were confusing with having many images and buttons in this page.
  • inlineposticon: Like the posticon plugin it allows to select an icon per post but it allows to you to upload it inline.

  • invite: Enhancements over the invite mod that allows to you change the i18n strings to be showed in the invite/register forms.
  • community, o2ocommunity: Enhancements over the community mod to change the members backend form the friends table to another one. It allows to have communities and sub communities (community members could be communities as well)
  • phplist: A plugin that integrates phplist users with elgg. http://elgg.org/_download/plugins/phplist.tar.gz
