Mediawiki is the industry standard wiki solution, as seen on Wikipedia and this documentation subsite.

The Elgg-MediaWiki integration was produced by Aperto Elearning Solutions, originally for Elgg 0.4. It was later revamped for Elgg 0.6 and above, and can be freely obtained from their download site.
