Invitation/Registration emails are sent to junk

Email difficulties almost always turn out to be unrelated to Elgg.
It's up to your ISP to make sure that you have a mailer friendly environment.
If things are not working as they should (email is sent to junk) you might want to check with your provider that following things are set up correctly:
a) Host name
b) Reverse DNS
c) MX
d) SPF
e) Time and date
